It's about that time...time to head off to the ALT DESIGN SUMMIT and into that freezing cold 36 degree Salt Lake City weather (hey, I'm from Vegas!). I'm experiencing a whole bundle of emotions right now...excitement, nervousness, anxiety, and more excitement...but am completely ready to soak up all the ALT awesomeness. I'm talking about all the insight, the inspiration, the advice, the expertise, the behind the scenes stories, the tips, the parties, and even the fashion (I hear it's quite the scene) that I will be surrounded by for the rest of the week. I'm also really looking forward to spending some time with one of my besties from college and meeting up with some of my all time favorite online peeps. I'm hoping my little jaunt will be all that I hope it will be (and that I survive the longest time I've ever been away from my babies *tear*).
In other ALT related tidbits, I thought I'd share my revamped business cards I whipped up for the occasion. The inspiration behind this little make over comes from my business tag line: CELEBRATING LIFE THROUGH PAPER.
I basically took my die cut business card
+ slipped a few sparkly sequins into a glassine envelope with said card
+ added a little tag then sealed them up with 2 pieces of washi tape
And voila!
A little mash up using some of my studio essentials: paper + ink + mini envelopes + tape + a little sparkle for good measure.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog! :) And to answer your question, no I did not cut my business cards myself...I think I would go crazy if I had to do that, haha. I have a local vendor who can cut any shape for me and make it into a die cut. Hope that answered your question!! :)
