01. I'm at it again. It's still months away, but I've been planning my twin babies 2nd birthday. I came up with the concept earlier this year but my ideas have been in full swing lately. This year we're keeping it much more low key. No BABYMANIA, no John Lennon appearances, no 60 person soiree. Just a sweet and simple celebration with our immediate family members.
02. Remember this cookbook I recently blogged about? Well I decided to go with the downloadable version and am so glad I did. There are so many tasty looking recipes to try out in the coming months!
03. The new house is almost built. Pretty much everything but the flooring remains. I've had the most headache (read: stress) in trying to design the flooring. We decided to go with a balanced blend of materials: wood, tile, and tone on tone flat carpet. I can't decide what I'm most excited about - the darker toned (but not espresso dark) wood floors or the darling octagon and dot 2x2 tiles going in the babies' bathroom.
04. Is it just me, or does anyone else love (like, really really love) chalkboard art? I am head over heels in love with this talented designer's work. You can see more of Dana Tanamachi's work here.
05. Did someone say shoe sale? I believe Nordstom did. These Betsy Johnson flats are only $53 and would be the perfect shoe to tip toe into fall.
